Good don’t get me no where
All I strived to be
Given to the counterfeit
and held back from me
For a moment I saw happy
right there in my grasp
It was only an illusion
trapped in the broken glass
I picture me out of dreams
and think of what to say
to unlock the garden
and let love find it’s way.
the eyes that mirror mine
that knows the pain I feel
that saw past illusions
that only saw the real
looked and saw me broken
and didn’t look away
but I guess that I forgot
No one ever stays…….
I wont forget again
